    414 Started to work for Canadian General Electric in Montreal in Sep. 1902. Then with Montreal Light, Heat and Power Co. in 1905. He left Montreal on Aug. 14th and arrived in Calgary, AB to work for Alberta Portland Cement on Aug. 20, 1907. In 1909 he returned to Canadian General Electric as supply manager. In 1915 he took over managership of Motor Car Supply in Edmonton, AB. He was a founding member of the Edmonton Rotary Club. In Dec. 1928 in complained of a back ache and went to the hospital and discovered it was a ruptured appendix. He died at home. HULBERT, Gordon Raymond (I17)

    416 Ted served with the Canadian Army in Europe during World War II. Upon his return in 1945, he began a thirty-three year career with A.G.T. (Telus). Ted was actively involved in the community, having assisted with the Nickle Foundation and Y.M.C.A. special needs children's swimming programs and after retirement, organizing and remaining a volunteer with C.N.I.B.'s Talking Books Repair Program. He also contributed his time and skills to the United Church and took great pleasure in serving on the board of directors for his condominium association. Ted was best known for his keen sense of humour and his amazing ability to fix anything for his friends and family. John moved to Egypt for health reasons. The first press reports that he was killed by Beduin. Later a brief article retracting this, stating it may have been an accident. Emma moved to Australia to join her sister with her younger children. She was living in Coolangatta, Queensland, Australia in 1915.
