- Started to work for Canadian General Electric in Montreal in Sep. 1902. Then with Montreal Light, Heat and Power Co. in 1905. He left Montreal on Aug. 14th and arrived in Calgary, AB to work for Alberta Portland Cement on Aug. 20, 1907. In 1909 he returned to Canadian General Electric as supply manager. In 1915 he took over managership of Motor Car Supply in Edmonton, AB. He was a founding member of the Edmonton Rotary Club. In Dec. 1928 in complained of a back ache and went to the hospital and discovered it was a ruptured appendix. He died at home.
