- Marnie graduated with a BSc in nursing from the University of Alberta in 1946. She worked for the City of Calgary as a Public Health Supervisor. Marnie was a very kind person and would come to the aid of anyone who needed her help. She will be remembered by many Calgarians as their "school nurse". She was a member of the Pi Beta Phi Fraternity, Christ Church and the Calgary Golf and Country Club. Unmarried.
