- Annie was educated in Germany and graduated from Guys Hospital. She was a Sister in 1914 in WWI and won the Royal Red Cross Metal. Matron of Gifford House which is the Queen Alexandria hospital home for disabled ex-servicemen and women. Established in Roehampton in 1919 and moved to Worthing in 1933. She was unmarried.
