She married a man whose last name was James and they divorced. Living with her parents in 1910-20 and went back to her maiden name. In 1940 she was living in Shorewood, Milwaukee Co., WI and was a teacher.

WWI Draft registration card dated Sep. 12, 1918. They had no children and enjoyed travelling. His first trip was to Bermuda and returned to New York on Sep. 13, 1913, single at that time. Later they took trips to England and several cruises. One was to South America from May until June 1948. Another was around the world from Jan. until May 1955.

He sailed from Southampton, England to New York on Aug. 25, 1937. In 1920-30 he was a professor at the University of Texas in Austin. No children in 1930.
